Leanne Fink is exhibiting two paintings from her National Treasures Collection in the AiM Gallery's juried group exhibit. The theme focuses on our environment, nature's elements exposed. Opening reception is Saturday, July 25, 1-3pm. Several LSC members are also participating in this show. |
112 South Street SE, Suite 200 Leesburg, VA 20175 “Artists & Artisans—15 Portraits,” a collaborative effort with local artists and crafts masters, will be on exhibit August through September. Two of Philip’s black-and-white, non-digital photographic portraits recently won Honorable Mentions in a juried international competition; one is from this project. You can also meet Philip on August 7th at the Visitors Center, in Market Station, Leesburg, VA, during the First Friday event, where he will demonstrate and answer questions about his work. |

US Mission to the United Nations Once again, the US Department of State's Art in Embassies Program has selected the art of Leanne Fink, this time for a special installation at our US Mission to the United Nations in New York City. Leanne is lending eight paintings from her Cradle of Life: The Treasures of Jordan Collection for the duration of the Ambassador's tenure as his spouse is of Jordanian ancestry. The artist states, "Visual art speaks a language that needs no translation. It is my wish that this body of work will uplift those who view it." Leanne's work will be on loan through 2028. |
